It seems Batman isn’t the only superhero in Liverpool right now, as Reds star Mohamed Salah donned matching Incredibles costumes and masks with his daughter Makka to celebrate his sixth birthday.
The Kopites have thought that Salah, whom they have dubbed their ‘Egyptian King’, is incredible since he arrived at Anfield in 2017.
After a disappointing first season in English football with Chelsea, Salah has been an overwhelming success since returning to the Premier League with Liverpool in a £ 36.9 million move from Roma.
He scored 44 goals in his first season.
And now it’s just a century away for Liverpool, having so far registered 99 times in 158 games.
Doting father Salah swapped his usual red fringe for the orange and black from The Incredibles to wear an identical costume to his little girl, as they both took a ‘superhero’ stance to be represented by party balloons and Incredibles merchandise in the same color scheme. .
Posting the image on Instagram, she wrote: “Happy birthday to my princess! #IncredibleFather.”
The Incredibles is a 2004 animated film, with a 2018 sequel, about a family hiding their powers in an attempt to live a quiet suburban life.
Salah and his teammates will return to play in the Premier League tomorrow at Everton.
The international break is almost over and Premier League football is back in force.
Liverpool travel to Everton on Saturday for the first Merseyside derby of the season.
