Mohamed Salah has been benched for Liverpool’s Premier League clash at Crystal Palace this afternoon.
But Joel Matip has returned to the starting lineup as one of three changes from the team that beat Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
Salah’s place in attack is taken by Takumi Minamino, who joins Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in the three forwards.
Curtis Jones, impressive in recent weeks, is another player to be named among the substitutes, with Naby Keita in place for his first Premier League start in nearly a month.
Skipper Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum continue in the engine room.
Matip missed midweek with a back spasm that forced him to retire at halftime last weekend in Fulham, but has returned to teammate Fabinho as central defender.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson remain on the side, with Alisson Becker in goal.
