Liverpool Champions League calamity goalkeeper Loris Karius is set to complete the season-long loan to Union Berlin with no club willing to meet his starting price of £ 6 million.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is finalizing his loan to Union Berlin.
The 27-year-old, who has not played competitively for Liverpool since the 2018 Champions League final, arrived in Berlin on Sunday night and undergoes a medical examination on Monday before agreeing to a loan of season.
Liverpool wanted £ 6 million for Karius, who has spent the last two seasons with Besiktas and has received inquiries from Montpellier and Hertha Berlin. He’s above the mark with Alisson Becker, who is an injury doubt for tonight’s clash with Arsenal, and Adrian well established at Anfield.

However, with no one willing to pay the asking price, Liverpool have loaned Karius for a year in the hope that he can improve his market value. Liverpool’s Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi is also at the Union.
Liverpool hope to get rid of more players before the end of the window. Burnley remains in talks about a possible £ 15 million deal for Harry Wilson, while Rhian Brewster, rated at £ 25 million, expects Crystal Palace and Sheffield United to meet Liverpool’s demands.
Marko Grujic is interested in Borussia Monchengladbach and Liverpool would consider offers for Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri. Hull City are interested in Ben Woodburn and Polish under-21 goalkeeper Kamil Grabara is talking to Greek PAOK.
