Adam Lallana is finding his place at his new club after leaving Liverpool this summer.

The 32-year-old spent six seasons at Anfield, making 178 appearances and scoring 59 goals in the Liverpool jersey.

He left the club this summer after the expiration of his contract.

After leaving the Reds, Lallana agreed to a three-year contract with Brighton and Hove Albion.

He has played in all three of Seagull’s Premier League games so far this season, being named in the starting lineup for the game against Manchester United at Amex Stadium.

Brighton is looking to ensure the Red Devils’ disappointing start to the season continues after they were defeated by Crystal Palace last week.

And Lallana’s performance in the first half of the game caught the attention of delighted Liverpool fans before being substituted in the 75th minute.

Brighton took the lead against Manchester United, and Neal Maupay made no mistake from point of view after the Seagulls were awarded a penalty.

However, an own goal by Lewis Dunk tied the Red Devils before the break.

Marcus Rashford made it 2-1 shortly after the restart before the latest drama at AMEX Stadium when Solly March tied in stoppage time only for Bruno Fernandes to beat it with an even later penalty.

Lallana will have another chance to beat Manchester United in a replay of the game when the two teams meet in the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday night.
