– Top Glove Corporation Bhd Factory, Klang
The rubber glove maker issued a statement Thursday confirming that 17 employees tested positive for Covid-19.
According to the company, the affected employees were quarantined after they underwent swab tests on November 2 and have since been taken to the hospital after the results came back positive.
When contacted, a spokesperson said the employees work at Top Glove’s factory in Meru, Klang. However, the operation of the factory is not affected and the company said it has “implemented all strict disinfection, sanitation and relevant measures” according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
