PUBLIC TRANSPORT

– City LRT Station, Kuala Lumpur

Prasarana Bhd said that an LRT station officer attached to its Bandaraya station tested positive for Covid-19 on December 24. The employee last came to work on December 19.

The officer had no contact with the passengers while on duty, he said in a statement today.

Rapid Rail, which is the operator of Prasarana’s LRT network, has carried out disinfection and cleaning work at the officer’s workplace.


RESIDENCES

– Suria Apartment, Kepong Industrial Park, Kuala Lumpur

According to the Kepong DAP branch, a resident here tested positive for Covid-19.

He posted on Facebook a notice from the apartment’s management, dated Dec. 24, which says the resident lives on the 16th floor of Block D. Other occupants of the unit have also been screened and quarantined.

The management added that they will perform sanitation in all common areas of the block.

– Bukit Batu Public House, Kulai, Johor

The Kulai District Health Office said that yesterday (December 25) a positive case of Covid-19 was recorded in this area of ​​housing.

It is the only active case that currently exists.

– Taman Senai, Kulai, Johor

Two positive cases were recorded in this area of ​​housing as of yesterday, according to statistics released by the Kulai District Health Office.

– Desa Satu Apartment, Desa Aman Puri Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

A tenant in Block 2 tested positive for Covid-19 and had since been taken to the hospital, according to a notice issued by his management office.

The notice was shared today by the Kepong DAP office.

All residents were advised to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) by wearing a face mask when in common areas, wash their hands from time to time, and maintain physical distance.

Two members of a family living in Block C tested positive for Covid-19, according to a notice issued by the administration.

It emerged that the notice was sent to all residents through their WhatsApp group on Thursday (December 24).
