Apple revealed the AirPods Max, the largest member of the AirPods family and the first to introduce an over-the-ear design that features high-fidelity audio. However, what amuses the most is the design of the case netizens, and they are having a lot of fun making fun of it on Twitter.
The AirPods Max case allows you to hold the actual band of your AirPods like the straps of a purse and two awkwardly placed “cups”. According to Apple, it is a “slim and soft Smart Case that puts AirPods Max in an ultra-low power state that helps preserve battery life when not in use.”
However, the design of the case generated controversy as netizens on Twitter compared the case to a bra or a sleep mask. One Twitter user even called him “back bag“-Whatever that means.
While the case is “bra-shaped”, I doubt it can function as a real bra. But it’s fun enough to poke fun at the shape of the case, because if you were to pay the hefty price of RM2,399, you shouldn’t be ashamed of wearing the case in public.
However, the design of the Apple AirPods Max is quite good. It comes in space gray, silver, sky blue, green and pink, uses a breathable knit mesh canopy for the headband to reduce pressure on the head, and uses a stainless steel headband frame.
The price of AirPods Max in Malaysia is 2399 RM, but not yet available in Malaysia. In first wave countries including the US and Australia, it is now available for pre-order and stocks are expected to arrive on December 15.
