Lenovo has announced that it will launch the Legion Duel in Malaysia next week. The device is from the brand first gaming smartphone, and it was initially launched in China in July earlier this year.

In short, the Lenovo Legion Duel comes with a 6.65-inch notchless display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sample rate. Unique to the phone is its pop-up mounted selfie camera. laterally that is designed to be used in the landscape orientation for games. It also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo front speakers, and two ultrasonic air fire buttons on its side.
The gaming smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 865+ SoC paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Legion Duel includes a 5,000 mAh split cell battery with 90 W Turbo Power Charging technology. Lenovo claims that the phone could be charged in 30 minutes using both USB-C ports on the device to take full advantage of the fast charging capability of 90W.
In terms of photography, the Legion Duel features a dual camera setup on its back consisting of a 64MP main sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide angle. Housed in the side mount pop-up module is a 20MP front camera.
The Lenovo Legion Duel will launch in Malaysia on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 and its launch date, as well as pricing, is expected to be announced during the event. For reference, Lenovo’s new gaming phone is priced at CNY3,499 (~ RM2,125) for the 8GB / 128GB variant when it launched in China. At the same time, the 12GB / 128GB version is sold at CNY3,899 (~ RM2,370), 12GB / 256GB at CNY4,199 (~ RM2,550) and 16GB / 512GB at CNY5,999 (~ RM3,640) .
