Leicester and Manchester United met on the final day of last season, with a 2-0 win for the Red Devils securing a third place in the Premier League while the Foxes missed the Champions League. United’s exit from the competition saw manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer come under fire, but his counterpart Brendan Rodgers has praised the work done.
Solskjaer’s team heads to King Power Stadium in a winning 10-game road race.
“I think Ole is doing a fantastic job,” Rodgers said.
“They will be disappointed to get out of the Champions League because it is a competition in which they have a history.
“Ole has reshaped the club in terms of values and is looking to develop young players.

United left-back Luke Shaw says it would be “foolish” to rule out his team’s title chances this season.
The Red Devils are one point behind Leicester, second in the table, and five behind the leader, Liverpool, but they have a game in hand for both teams.
“The way the Premier League is going right now, I think it would be foolish to doubt us. I think right now, it belongs to everyone.
“The team that takes charge, spends the Christmas period well and wins all their games, I think they have a very good opportunity.
“We just have to try to be consistent in our game, because we can’t keep having a good game and go down and then have a bad game.
“There is no way you can mount a title challenge like that, so I think we need to stay consistent and see where it takes us.
“The Champions League really hurts, but I think in terms of performance if we get that consistency, we will be in a much better place than we already are.
“Of course we have a lot to improve, all teams do it sometimes, but if we can keep improving and keep that consistency, I’m sure we’ll be in a much better place.”
