Kylian Mbappé says he is wary of the threat Marcus Rashford will pose against his Paris Saint-Germain side on Tuesday night because Paul Pogba constantly praises Manchester United’s “special” forward.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team returns to Paris for the first time since their famous round of 16 victory at the Parc des Princes in 2019, which effectively sealed the Norwegian’s appointment as full-time manager at the Theater of Dreams.

Rashford scored an injury-time penalty in the French capital to seal a 3-1 victory in Paris and reverse a 2-0 defeat in the first leg at Old Trafford.

Since then PSG have reached the Champions League final, but their dream of winning the trophy continues and they hope to lead a difficult group made up of United and RB Leipzig to increase their chances.

Rashford and company will be looking for the three points and Mbappé says he is well aware of the threat from the forward because he has been warned by his international teammate Pogba.

“He is one of the most dangerous forwards in England,” Mbappe said.

“Paul Pogba has talked about how special he is and he doesn’t talk about players that way often.

‘When penalized in that situation, it doesn’t matter how much practice he put into training ground. It’s about confidence and he’s a player who plays with great confidence ”.

United will be without Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani after the foursome failed to travel to France.

Cavani was hoping to make his debut for the club against his former employers, but he has only had two training sessions with the group and is still not fit enough to participate.

Axel Tuanzebe could appear for the first time in 2020 in the absence of Bailly and Maguire.
