Remember how Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) made fun of the world With plans to build your own game console? Well, it looks like the fast food chain is delivering on its promise and officially bringing the chicken camera desktop PC to life and games like the aptly named KFConsole.

Originally expected to launch in early November, KFC is reported to have delayed the launch, but did not specify a new date. Let’s be clear; yes, the KFConsole features a camera designed for storing chicken, and yes: it’s a full-fledged desktop gaming PC too, and a high-end variant too, judging by its supposed specs.

The chassis appears to have been made in collaboration with Cooler Master, a point many reports are concluding based on KFC’s tagging of the PC case brand on their official Twitter account. Specifically, the case is based on a modified MasterCase NC100. Internally, the system is powered by an Intel NUC 9 Extreme Compute Element, presumably one with the Core i9-9980HK CPU, as well as an ASUS-branded GeForce RTX GPU, although it’s unclear which generation it is. Oh, and there’s a 1TB NVMe SSD too, courtesy of Seagate.

As far as the chamber is concerned, it is also an integral part of the system, with the PC’s cooling solution doing double duty of keeping the components cold and the chicken placed inside it warm with the heat generated by it.

It goes without saying that KFConsole is unlikely to reach our shores, but we assume it is heaven for those who love the smell and taste of that secret blend of 11 herbs and spices.
