PETALING JAYA: DAP Ketari Assemblyman Young Syefura Othman (Photo) apologized for allegedly violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) during his birthday celebration at a spa in Sepang.
His action was said to violate the conditional motion control order (MCO).
Syefura, who is known as Rara, said she was willing to be investigated by authorities if her actions violated Covid-19 SOPs.
“I apologize if my actions go against Covid-19 standard operating procedures. I did not use any privileges as an elected representative to move to Selangor, where I reside.
“I am willing to be investigated by the authorities if my actions go against Covid-19 standard operating procedures. Thank you, ”he said in an Instagram post on Monday (November 9).
Syefura had posted the photos of her birthday celebration on her Instagram account, although now the photos have been removed.
The footage reportedly showed Syefura with four other people on a beach with no social distancing and no face masks.
