JUVENTUS will receive a 3-0 win after opponent Napoli failed to return to their Serie A game amid Covid-19 fears.
In incredible settings, the Old Lady, and a handful of fans, arrived at Allianz Stadium for the 7:45 start, knowing that her rivals had not made the trip.
With two positive results this week, Napoli se PROHIBITED to travel by the local health authority.
However, Serie A refused to suspend the game.
And, per league rules, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bianconeri will receive all three points after the strange no-show.
Television coverage showed a message that said “Awaiting arrival of the visiting team”, as the action could not start.
Napoli were scheduled to travel on Saturday night for Sunday night’s league game, but were prevented from doing so.
The local health authority intervened after its most recent opponent, Genoa, suffered a widespread outbreak of coronavirus, with 17 players testing positive.
Since then, two Napoli players and a staff member have also tested positive for the virus.
Piotr Zielinski and Eljif Elmas are the players who have been confirmed positive so far, but there could be more in the next round of testing.
Juventus also has its own problems amid the pandemic with two staff members with Covid-19.

The club’s account tweeted: “Juventus Football Club announces that the First Team will take to the field for the Juventus – Napoli match tomorrow at 8:45 p.m., as foreseen by the Serie A League schedule.”
Serie A protocol, borrowed from UEFA, states that games will not be postponed if clubs can line up 13 players, including a goalkeeper.
But the local health authority overcame soccer procedures.
