Jurgen Klopp has singled out Liverpool’s young players for stepping up and said the club “would have been lost without them” this season.
The Reds have suffered a severe injury crisis with a large number of regular first-team players absent during the first months of the season.
Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are still absent for a long time and Thiago Alcantara is also out along with Alisson, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

And amid a packed match roster, Klopp is delighted by the way his younger players have stepped up.
Ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Midtjylland, where Klopp is expected to turn to the stars again after qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League, he especially praised his inexperienced players.
