JOHOR BARU: Johor police will investigate who has been supplying drugs in high schools following revelations that 177 schoolchildren in the state tested positive for drugs in January this year.
Johor Police Chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said police would work with the National Drug Agency (AADK) to find out the level of threat posed by drug use in schools.

“The investigations are still ongoing because we (the police) were not informed by AADK. If true, we would like to know where they (the students) got their supply from.
“Maybe AADK’s approach is more geared toward counseling students, but ours is more about the drug ring and how far this abuse has penetrated into schools,” he said after the Johor job handover ceremony.
