‘It’s back to school for Kedah MB, not his critics’

Kedah MB tells critics to take BM classes after accusations of racial slurs

ADUN SPEAKS | Kedah MB should enroll in the moral class

Dr. Raman: I must give it to you, Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor. What a class act.

Typically when politicians are wrong, they will say they have been misquoted, there was a miscommunication, it was an incorrect report, or they would threaten legal action.

But you said that we don’t understand Malay Bahasa and that we need to go back to BM’s lessons to understand the deeper meanings of your comments. I guess you meant this for Malays as well, as former Umno Youth member Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris (Papagomo) also You misunderstood.

But then he cited examples like love Sick (drunk of Love), drunk on power (drunk with power), drunk popularity (drunk on popularity), that even school kids know its meanings very well.

I trust you when you said that you did not make any racially sensitive comments when saying “popularity mabuk todi” (drunk from popularity toddy) and “janganlah minum hanya sebotol, mabuknya dua tiga botol” (drunk in two or three bottles after drinking only one) , which was quoted from his statement.

But you didn’t explain the real meaning hidden between the lines. Can I interpret it to mean “toddy increases political popularity”, or “the greatness of toddy comes not from one, but from two or three bottles”?

We just hope that this new excuse does not catch on, otherwise Toddy will become even more popular and there will be more raids in supermarkets.

MW: “The popularity of mabuk” is not the same as “the popularity of mabuk todi” – adding the word ‘toddy’ meant that it was intended as a racial slur. This drunk on power MB also needs lessons from BM.

Malaysia Bharu: First, the Kedah MB must be sent back to school and must be taught to communicate with people in a civilized way.

The fact that he has sunk to the level of using words like ‘mabuk’ and ‘toddy’ indicates his arrogance, low mentality, lack of basic communication skills, and most of all his dislike of Indians in general.

In blatantly demolishing the temple (Sri Raja Muniswarar Hindu Temple in Taman Bersatu, Kuala Kedah) and using foul language to defend himself is in effect adding insult to injury. He is definitely not fit to serve in a multiracial environment, much less MB.

Mazilamani: If the MB has offended non-Malays, just apologize. Sanusi should be an MB for all races, including constituencies that voted for the opposition.

Sanusi should speak to the people of Kedah in simple language, without metaphors or proverbs. He was not addressing intellectuals in an educational forum.

Meanwhile, Jeram Assemblyman Mohd Shaid Rosli initially called for the closure of Jaya Grocer’s non-halal section in Puncak Alam in his constituency, following allegedly overwhelming complaints from his voters.

Now he says that just called for the withdrawal of liquor from the supermarket. If so, why was that particular non-halal section addressed? He was equally ungrateful to the non-Malays who voted for him.

Frankly, those idiotic politicians are feeding negative intentions into a section of the bumiputera community and working to furiously destroy the national unity, which the founding fathers worked hard to foster.

BrownRabbit6629: I absolutely agree with the Assemblyman of Bagan Dalam, Satees Muniandy. Certainly, the MB needs to go back to school. He uses his tough tactics to hit the non-Malays and show his bravery to the Malays.

Meanwhile, I’m not sure that I can improve in math even after attending classes when you don’t even know the difference between ‘billion’ and ‘trillion’. Ask him how many zeros there are in a billion and he would probably look at you blankly.

Well, this is the kind of leader we find at PAS, who lacks both math and science skills. Their only weapons to gain political ground are religion and race.

Eagle flying: He could also preside over the state assembly with pantun (limericks) and proverb (metaphors). Kedah will surely be rich and his rakyat more harmonious if you do.

You told the critics to go learn Bahasa Malay to understand your statement. Can the rakyat tell you to go and learn business management so that you can run the state well?

Alumoodan08: We all know what you meant, Sanusi. Backing up won’t help.

You’ve just done your coalition a disservice. You must surely know that your constituents are not just people of your race.

His illiterate response has grown bigger than the problem he started with. But we know that you really don’t care as long as you have the sponsors you want.

Coward: One thing you have to accept is that in Malaysia, getting politicians to admit that he is wrong is ridiculously impossible. This cuts across the political divide.

It is always journalists who misreported it or misrepresented the words, even when it was recorded or in writing. If not, it is the public to blame for reading it incorrectly, even though the vast majority of the public reads it in the same “incorrect” way.

When you say something wrong, admit it and move on. No one is a saint and not even a saint can do anything wrong.

KK Chettiar: The MB sounds like someone who is suffering drunk on power.

Arrogance knows no decency; You should just apologize and remedy the situation instead of dragging it further.
