Liverpool are preparing for a trip to London on Saturday where they will face Fulham in the Premier League.
It seems that Caoimhin Kelleher’s time between the sticks for Liverpool will come to an end as they welcome the first player, Alisson Becker, back to the starting eleven.
The Reds face Fulham for possibly their easiest three points since defeating Sheffield United 2-1 at Anfield just under two months ago.
Their most recent trip (Brighton) to a team in the lower half of the Premier League standings saw them share the spoils after succumbing to a 1-1 draw in the final minutes of the game.

This was four games ago and was Alisson’s last action before suffering a muscle injury that kept him out of the national team for about two weeks.
During his time on the bench, Reds around the world were nervous to learn that they should welcome Adrian back to the starting lineup. But Jurgen Klopp, as always, threw a wrench in the works. He opted for the 22-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher.
This was seen as a bold and fearless move on the part of the German chief. Fortunately, it was greeted with joy after a trio of positive results. In Kelleher’s brief stint as Liverpool’s No. 1, he saw him help the Merseysiders to two wins, one draw and no losses.
Throughout this period, he collected two clean sheets and conceded a single goal, a goal that was scored from 12 yards. To put this in perspective of how fantastic he has done for the champions of England, Adrian, who is supposed to be the team’s second-choice goalkeeper, played five games and conceded as many as 11 goals.
It became clear after Adrian’s few outings, he was not good enough to handle all the pressure and in Kelleher’s day he made a big name for himself and can be officially named the club’s number 2.

Sadly all good things come to an end
Now that Alisson Becker is back and ready to take his place again, Kelleher will see his minutes with the first team limited probably until the FA Cup starts and Premier League clubs get involved.
Klopp enjoyed all of the Irishman’s performances and was proud of his work on the field, and with good reason. The 22-year-old helped Klopp top Group D in their Champions League run and kept the Reds in second place after a stellar performance against the Wolves.
In the three games he played, they made 12 shots and saved all 12. The only goal conceded came from the penalty spot.
In short… The future looks bright for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
