IPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max Telco Price Comparison: Maxis, Digi, U Mobile and Celcom

Continuing with the telecom comparisons for iPhone 12 devices, we now have the Pro and Pro Max models. As before, each device has three storage variants. And all Digi telcos offer both advance and installment payment plans.

Maxis

Contract Maxis iPhone 12 Pro

As before, Maxis has the full range of settings for both the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. And you have the option of both advance payment and Zerolution installments.

Although the 512GB variant of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is noteworthy, especially if you plan to get one through the two-year Zerolution plan. In the end, you will have exceeded the five-digit threshold.

Digi

Digi iPhone 12 Pro Phone, Freedom 365

Also, as before, Digi only offers the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max through its PhoneFreedom 365 install plan. But as you’ll notice, the Digi Postpaid 80 option with GBoost is gone.

So if you want one of the Pro models, you will have to sign up for a plan that is of a higher tier. You could see it as a plan more in keeping with the Pro names.

On mobile

U Mobile iPhone 12 Pro contract

Nothing much has changed on the U Mobile side. The telco has basically the same offerings for the Pro and Pro Max models as they do for the base iPhone 12 and mini.

And in typical U Mobile fashion, there is a great value point to do here. This is the only telco to offer the 512GB Pro Max device for less than RM9000.

Celcom

Once again, Celcom is breaking the mold by offering a 30-month installment agreement for Easyphone. But as with the base iPhone 12, this only applies to the Pro model, and only to the 128GB storage variant.

Interestingly, this is slightly less than if you took the 24-month option. It’s not a big difference, but it’s there.

Apple iPhone 12 Pro

The price gap between what Digi and U Mobile offer has widened considerably with the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. There’s a clear advantage the latter has now, when only the price of the device is taken into account, at least.

And as before, Celcom is the only one with a 30-month contract. The option is there for those who need it, perhaps for those who are sure they won’t switch phones for the next three years.
