After news of their upcoming wedding was shared, Hyerim made his first live broadcast to speak to his fans about it!
On May 1, it was announced that Hyerim will marry her life-long boyfriend Shin Min Chul, who is a taekwondo athlete. After the news, he turned to Instagram for his first live broadcast while traveling home after filming the reality show “Don’t Be Jealous.”
On why they decided to get married, Hyerim said: “Dating for seven years is quite a long time. The members had said that I would be the second to marry, and that came true. “
She added: “For the announcement of our relationship, I wrote a handwritten letter. Our marriage was announced through a news article, but I thought it would be boring if I republished a handwritten letter, so I decided to do a live Instagram, something I have never done before. “
When asked by fans how Wonder Girls members reacted to the news, Hyerim shared that Ahn So Hee had texted her a moment earlier to say that she had seen the article and congratulated her.
Hyerim recently signed with Wonder Girls member Yubin member rrr Entertainment agency and said, “Our CEO congratulates me very much.” She commented that Yubin seemed to be happy that Hyerim married before her, while also having a slightly disappointed look in his eyes. “Still, I think she still has no idea of doing it herself,” she said. “She is a hard worker as an executive director.”
