PETALING JAYA: Amanah Vice President Husam Musa has denied a report claiming that he resigned from his post, as well as that of Kelantan President Pakatan Harapan, in protest against his party chairman, Mohamad Sabu.
In a text message to the FMT, Husam denied the content of The Malaysian Insight report, saying it is “not correct.”
The report citing sources claimed that Husam submitted his resignation letter two weeks ago.
According to the source, Husam was not satisfied with Mohamad’s leadership, particularly in failing to provide clear direction to support former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad or PKR President Anwar Ibrahim.
Husam joined Amanah following his dismissal from PAS in 2016. He is a Vice President-designate.
