GOT7’s Yugyeom reportedly leaving JYP Entertainment and signing with AOMG + JYP responds

On January 6, SPO TV News reported that GOT7’s Yugyeom will be signing an exclusive contract with hip hop label AOMG after his contract with JYP Entertainment expires this month. He has reportedly contacted several management companies and finally decided to join AOMG.

JYP Entertainment said in a statement to Newsen, “We are still discussing various possibilities regarding GOT7’s contracts and will inform you when we are ready.”

In December, it was reported that GOT7’s Jinyoung had met with BH Entertainment for a possible exclusive contract. JYP Entertainment confirmed that GOT7’s contract expires in January and stated that they were discussing various possibilities with the members.

GOT7 is a seven-member group from JYP Entertainment that debuted in 2014. They recently won the Global Top 10 of Fans at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Performance of the Year Daesang at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards.
