In Google Photos VP Shimrit Ben-Yair’s announcement, new photos and videos uploaded to Google Photos starting June 1, 2021 will be part of the free 15GB storage that comes with every Google account. This also applies to the additional storage space you may have purchased through Google One.
All your existing high quality backed up photos and videos and any new high quality backed up content before June 1, 2021 are exempt from this change and will not count towards your Google account storage. pic.twitter.com/lRaY4mQNFN

On the other hand, owners of Pixel 1 to Pixel 5 devices will still be able to upload their photos for free even after June 1, 2021. This is not exactly surprising, given that they are phones made by Google.
As for existing photos and videos, as well as those uploaded from now until May 31, 2021, they will not be affected by this new address. In case you are wondering about Google One’s paid services, the 100GB plan is currently priced at RM 8.49 per month, while the 200GB and 2TB plans are available for a fee. RM 11.99 and RM 42.99, respectively.
