Fuel price for the second week of September 2020: RON 95 at RM 1.71, RM 97 at RM 2.01, diesel prices unchanged

It’s Friday, which means it’s also time for the weekly fuel price update and a bit of cheer for petrol users. The next week from September 5 to September 11 will see a drop of one sen for gasoline of RON 95 and RON 97, while diesel prices remain unchanged from last week.

According to the Ministry of Finance, RON 95 petrol for € 4 million will be priced at RM 1.71 per liter, up from RM 1.72 last week. Meanwhile, RON 97 gasoline undergoes an adjustment to RM 2.01 per liter, down from RM 2.02 last week.

For Euro 2M diesel, this fuel will remain unchanged in price from RM1.78 last week. Consequently, the Euro 5 diesel will be 10 sen more expensive, and it will also remain at RM1.88 from last week.

These prices will remain in effect until September 11, when the next round of fuel prices will be announced. This is the 35th edition of the weekly fuel price format for this year and the 87th overall for the format, from midnight on Saturday to the following Friday.
