It’s the price of fuel on Friday, and this week prices will continue to trend upward for the next week from November 21 to November 27.
The finance ministry has announced that petrol at RON 95 4 million will be priced at RM 1.64 per liter, two sen above last week’s price of RM 1.62 per liter. RON 97 gasoline is similarly adjusted at RM 1.94 per liter this week, up from last week’s price of RM 1.92 per liter.
Diesel fuel users will see an even bigger price increase, with Euro 2M diesel gaining seven sen this week at RM1.81 per liter, up from RM1.74 per liter last week. Consequently, Euro 5 diesel, priced 10 sen more than Euro 2M diesel, will be priced at RM1.91 per liter this week.
These prices will remain in effect until November 27, which is when the next round of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 46th edition of the weekly fuel price format, and the 98th in total since the format was introduced, from midnight on Saturday to the following Friday, beginning in early 2019.
