PETALING JAYA: Celcom customers will receive free internet from 6 pm to midnight today after experiencing a three-hour service outage.
Celcom said the free data offer was a token of appreciation for their patience during today’s service outages.
Customers across the country experienced disruptions to voice, SMS and data services due to “an unforeseen technical incident” around 3pm. Celcom said that all services have been gradually restored as of 6pm today.
“We would like to apologize to our customers for the inconvenience caused because they were unable to make calls and access the internet data.
“As a token of our appreciation for our clients’ patience, all data usage for our client’s assigned quota will not be deducted from 6 pm to 12 am (midnight) on October 4 (today),” Celcom said. .
