KUALA LUMPUR, February 19: A four-year-old boy died at Kajang Hospital after alleged physical abuse by a male partner of his mother, police said today.
Kajang District Police Chief, ACP, Mohd Zaid Hassan, said police arrested the 31-year-old boy’s mother and his 28-year-old partner, a car salvager, and that they are in pre-trial detention until Wednesday to your investigation.
He said the man is believed to have beaten the boy unconscious in an apartment in Semenyih last night.
The mother took her son to the hospital where the boy was confirmed dead, he said in a statement.
