Klopp hopes Thiago will add more quality to their squad as they look to challenge on all fronts at the national and European level.
Luis Milla, a former Barcelona and Real Madrid star, enjoyed a successful playing career and became a high-level coach.
Milla coached the Spain Under-21 team that won the 2011 World Championship, where 20-year-old Thiago was the star of the tournament.
He went on to explain how Thiago will be a good influence at Anfield and can also change the way Liverpool play.
“Liverpool and their coach have understood their quality and they are a very fast acting club,” Milla told The Mirror.
“They have players of such high quality both physically and mentally, who run and dominate the games, and Thiago will fit perfectly into that philosophy.
“Liverpool have grown a lot and want to win it all, but making this signing is a great declaration of intent.
“He is now a world-class central midfielder. Of course, he will have to adapt to the quality of the Premier League, but he is definitely capable of doing it.”
“I think in the end it will end up dictating the rhythm of Liverpool’s game, the rhythm of the game, and that’s why they signed him.
