Bruno Fernandes is unhappy with Manchester United’s lack of signings this summer and no longer believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is up to the task, according to a damaging report.

The strong accusation comes from journalist Duncan Castles, who made the claim about the Transfer Window Podcast.

United made four transfers on the deadline, including Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani. The arrival of the Uruguayan has left Paul Scholes, on the one hand, puzzled.

However, United missed most of their main goals, and the club did not get a new right winger. The Red Devils made three unsuccessful attempts to get Jadon Sancho. Although their efforts did not amuse Borussia Dortmund, which stuck rigidly to its starting price of £ 108 million.

His last attempt to get Ousmane Dembele also failed. after the Barcelona star chose to stay.

In fact, United also failed to achieve their top four goals this summer., according to the report.

Now Castles says those failures, coupled with their poor start to the season that saw them lose 6-1 at home to Tottenham, have seriously frustrated Fernandes.

He says Fernandes feels that United shouldn’t be losing so completely at home.

Castillos also alleges that the Portuguese star is furious at his failure to properly strengthen himself this summer.

The damaging report also suggests that Fernandes doesn’t believe Solskjaer can change United’s form.

Additionally, he confirmed reports that Fernandes’ anger at halftime against Spurs is accurate.

Castles said: “What I’m hearing, and this comes from a source very close to the player, is that Fernandes’ opinion of Solskjaer is similar to that of other senior members of the team.

“It doesn’t feel like [Solskjaer] he’s strong enough to lead the team. They feel like they don’t have the ability to push the players they have forward in the direction they should be going.

“Also, I understand that Fernandes is angry with the club for what they did in the summer. It does not match your expectations of what would happen when it arrived.

“In their opinion, they have not signed the necessary players to improve what is obviously a poor team. They are not at the level where they can fight for titles against Manchester City, Liverpool and Europe in the Champions League.

“There is discontent with the club and discontent with the coach.

“It is not entirely surprising to me that this happened, it is a common pattern in the locker room: this opinion of Solskjaer.

Pochettino linked to United

Castles also says that Fernandes’ reputation as a hard-to-please competitor is well known.

In addition, he claims that United are considering two possible replacements.

“Fernandes is known for being very competitive as an individual,” Castles continued. “He comes off as a very nice and unassuming person, but talking to those who know him is a different story.

“I think this significantly increases the pressure on Solskjaer. United have a longstanding interest in Mauricio Pochettino. But there are other options on the market, including Max Allegri. He is not in contact with United, but he would be a candidate ”.

Earlier this month TEAMtalk was informed that United was behind Solskjaer at this time and has not approached Pochettino.
