KUALA LUMPUR: All students enrolled in the 2020/2021 session enrollment program can go home for their mid-semester break, which begins Friday.

Deputy Director General for Education (School Operations) Adzman Talib said that all students from the matriculation universities in Kedah, Kelantan and Johor could go home from Friday until October 17.

He said those in other states could return home from Saturday through October 18.

“Beginning Friday, parents will be able to enter the matriculation colleges on weekends and holidays to visit students, subject to the SOP,” he said today in a statement.

“The approval, however, does not apply to students whose home is in the Covid-19 red zones.”

He advised parents and students to comply with the guidelines stipulated in the management and operation of teacher training institutes and schools for enrollment in new standards, accessible through the official portal of the Ministry of Education. www.moe.gov.my.
