KUCHING: The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) will be enforced in Kampung Haji Baki here starting tomorrow at 6pm until November 11, Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) chairman Datuk said today Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

“All surau, mosques, other places of worship and schools in the affected area will be closed during this period and not all economic sectors will be allowed to operate,” he added.

Uggah said that religious, social, recreational, cultural and sports activities were also not allowed and that the Ministry of Health would carry out specific examinations on affected residents, while the state government would distribute food.
