The latest update to Fortnite v12.50 brought about a number of changes to the game, featuring the nerf ‘Heavy Snipers’ for the revival of ‘Risky reels’, which is a major point of interest in Fortnite.

However, it appears that we are heading towards the first Fortnite v12.60 update in the coming weeks. Fornite Chapter 2, Season 2, has been extended until June 4. Season 2 was originally slated to end on April 30.

Fortnite v12.60 will be the last update for Chapter 2, Season 2. Data miners and leakers have now leaked new information about the upcoming Fortnite update. There is no official date for the update yet. But based on a polite conjecture, we should expect the Fortnite v12.60 update sometime in the middle of this month.

Fortnite v12.60 leak update

The Grefg Emote & Skin

A moment ago, a Spanish YouTuber who goes by the name of ‘The Grefg’ posted a video on his Twitter account that excited the entire Fortnite community. However, another YouTuber might be on the way to receiving in-game cosmetics dedicated to them.

The emote will launch as part of the Fortnite ‘Icon series’.

Another YouTuber who goes by the name ‘SinX6’ explained; Grefg’s skin will closely resemble a Dragon Ball Z character. (Think pointy hairs and a chiseled body.) The hair and parts of the character model can have ‘reactive’ abilities like many other masks.

Here is a SinX6 video that explains the cosmetic possibilities:

In a tweet from Fortnite information, a Fortnite Spanish news page, there was confirmation that this emoticon might be in the game sooner than people expect. The Spanish streamer said that:

Epic has perceived this dance as fun. However, it is not the final version, and they have to adjust it a bit. “

The yellow jacket skin may be available in the Fortnite v12.60 update.

A popular Fortnite leak, iFire Monkey, explains that the package is currently classified under the ‘Iris Starter Pack’. Here is his full tweet in this regard:

Has Fortnite removed skill-based pair building?

Things in the “Fortnite Skill-Based Pairing” section have been pretty grim for the past few days. Many players around the world have reported that they have been placed in bot rooms.

No, we’re not talking about Fortnite being added from “IA”. Players have observed that their games have a mix of players with different skill levels. This has raised some doubts, especially when popular YouTubers started noticing this phenomenon and pointed out the same in their videos.

Skill-based pairing in Fortnite essentially allows players to pair with opponents who possess a similar skill level. This was done in hopes of creating a level playing field.

However, over time, players started calling Epic games for taking the game in a completely different direction than the community had expected.

When is the next Fortnite update?

While there is no fixed date, the next Fortnite v12.60 update is expected to come out in mid-May.

New sets of challenges, cosmetics, emoticons, and bug fixes will be incorporated in the next update. The latest update for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 will be the last before we officially enter Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3.
