PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Datuk Seri, Dr. Wee Ka Siong, has congratulated the staff and management of KL International Airport (KLIA) for including it in the list of the 10 best airports in the world.

Dr. Wee also congratulated the staff and management of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) for the achievement in the latest global airport survey conducted by Airport Service Quality (ASQ).

“I believe that this success will continue in the future with the seriousness and the role that all parties played.”

“It is not just about providing the best services to national and international consumers, it also benefits the country in general.

“Keep going!” Said Dr. Wee in a Facebook post on Saturday (October 10).

KLIA ranked at number 17 last year, but this year it rose to number nine despite the global pandemic that is restricting international travel.

KLIA achieved an improved overall score of 4.94 out of 5.00, down from 4.69 in 2019, and the success included a perfect score of 5.00 in overall satisfaction from both business and leisure passengers.
