It was only yesterday that DJI officially launched the latest consumer grade drone under its wing, the Mavic Air 2. Although you can’t easily fly drones these days due to the Motion Control Order (MCO), that doesn’t mean you can’t get one.

Multiple local retailers have started accepting pre-orders for the DJI drone. In case the original listing is lost, the price for the Mavic Air 2 standard package is RM 3,290 while the Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo, which includes a set of ND filters along with a battery charging hub, power bank adapter, and shoulder bag, goes for RM 4,290.
Among these retailers, including long-time authorized DJI drone distributors, March and Kaki Drones. Other than that, Harvey Norman has also started accepting pre-orders for the Mavic Air 2, while the same goes for the All IT hypermarket although it only serves the Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo right now.
As for the arrival date, it somehow varies from one retailer to another, but overall, the Mavic Air 2 is expected to arrive in Malaysia from mid-May. But as we said earlier, be sure to keep track of updates from authorities regarding drone rules and regulations as they could be different under MCO circumstances even for consumer grade drones like Mavic Air 2.
