Manchester United winger Amad Diallo scored two goals in his first appearance for the club during an under-23 match against Liverpool.
The 18-year-old arrived at United from Atalanta earlier this month, signed a contract until June 2025 and scored the first and last goals in a 6-3 Premier League 2 win against Liverpool in Kirkby.

Financial details of the transfer were not disclosed, but sources told ESPN that United agreed to pay a base fee of € 21 million with € 20 million in add-ons.

“As a club, we have followed Amad for a number of years and having seen him myself, I think he is one of the most exciting young prospects in football,” United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said.
“It will take time for him to adjust, but his speed, vision and fantastic dribbling ability will help him transition.
“He is a player with all the basic attributes that are needed to be an important player for Manchester United for years to come.”
