DAP tells Putrajaya to cut funding for Jasa if budget is about ‘unity’

The DAP told Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today to withdraw an allocation of 85.5 million ringgit to reactivate the controversial Department of Special Affairs (Jasa) if he wishes to present a unit budget.

“The DAP calls on the prime minister and the government to immediately publicly commit to withdrawing the allocation to Jasa if the government is sincere in seeking a unity budget,” said the party’s general secretary Lim Guan Eng in a release.
