Liverpool put a serious score today with a resounding 7-0 over Crystal Palace.
The infamous 12.30pm starts haven’t been kind to the Reds this season, but their spectacular performance on Saturday afternoon was the Liverpool classic under Jurgen Klopp.
The ruthless spike and crisp passes saw Liverpool dominate the Palace in London as they made the most of every opportunity they created.
Takumi Minamino started the scoring with a brilliant shot from the bottom corner in the first exchanges.
Sadio Mane then doubled his lead with a typically belligerent finish as he pushed his way into the box before crashing the ball.
A supreme performance in the first half was finished off by Roberto Firmino who, having started the counter from deep, produced a dazzling shot to put the triple.
Even Jordan Henderson managed to spring into action in the second half after his curling spike off a Trent Alexander-Arnold pass nested perfectly in the back of the net.
The pain didn’t end there for the hosts, as Klopp later ushered Mohamed Salah into the chaos.
Salah apparently had a chip on his shoulder from running out and left his mark, providing a textbook assist for Firmino, who threw the ball over the goalkeeper for the second of the day.
Salah was a man on a mission and he managed to get on the score sheet while nodding his head from the corner.

However, the Egyptian king saved the best for last as he snuggled a cry in the top corner from the edge of the box to make seven.
It was nothing short of ruthless on Klopp’s part and, in truth, it could have been more.
It’s not often that you see so many world-class goals in a match, but it shows just how good Liverpool were.
Each and every one of the finals was top-notch, as the Reds sent an ominous warning to the rest of the league.
