A series of changes at halftime saw Portugal score FIVE goals in the second half, with Ronaldo between the goals.
A header in the 85th minute raised his tally to 102 international goals, just seven short of matching current record holder Ali Daei.
The former Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin striker scored 109 goals in 149 games for Iran between 1993 and 2006.
Ronaldo, who missed previous chances to score, had replaced Pedro Neto, the 20-year-old Lobos striker who was making his debut.
He opened the scoring for Portugal in the eighth minute before Braga’s Paulinho increased the lead to make it 2-0 at half-time.
Then Renato Sanches started the scoring in the second half with Paulinho, also making his debut in Portugal, scoring his second shortly after.
An own goal by Andorran Emili García made it 5-0 and Joao Félix scored late after Ronaldo’s goal.
Portugal host France on Saturday in the Nations League and then visit Croatia on Tuesday.
They are three points behind Group B leaders Ukraine in their last two matches of the European competition.
