PUTRAJAYA: All of Sabah will be under the conditional movement control order (MCO) from Tuesday (October 13) to October 26, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Chief Minister said that the National Security Council received confirmation from the Health Ministry that Covid-19 cases are increasing in Sabah.
“Following the advice of the ministry and taking into account the number of Covid-19 infections, the Council agreed to impose the conditional MCO on the entire state of Sabah,” it said on Monday (Oct 12).
During this period, interdistrict travel will not be allowed and those who need to travel for work must have a letter from their employer.
Only two members per family can leave the house to get food and basic necessities.
The activities of the economic, industrial and business sectors will be allowed with strict SOPs to follow.
Wet and wholesale markets can operate from 6am to 4pm. M. At 2 p. M., While grocery stores, convenience stores, and supermarkets, as well as restaurants and stalls, may be open from 6 a.m.
The hours of operation of pharmacies, drugstores and gas stations will be from 6 am to 6 pm, while clinics and the hospital will be able to operate 24 hours a day.
Activities are allowed in the fishing, plantation and agriculture sectors.
