Covid-19: Passengers on the MAS KL-Labuan flight on October 11 were asked to take the test

LABUAN (Bernama): Ninety-nine passengers on Malaysia Airlines flight MH2608 from Kuala Lumpur to Labuan at 8.35am on October 11 were urged to immediately undergo a Covid-19 test after a passenger tested positive recently infected.

The Labuan Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) issued a schedule for testing at the Membedai Health Clinic starting Thursday (October 15) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those wishing to reschedule tests are encouraged to call the Labuan CPRC at 087-596 160,087-422 505 or 087-442 506.

Meanwhile, Labuan Health Department Director Dr. Ismuni Bohari said that a total of 13,462 samples have been taken from Sabah returnees so far from September 26 to Monday (October 12), 9,680 results have been published while the rest are still pending.

Labuan recorded 86 cases of Covid-19, with eight new cases recorded on Wednesday (October 14).

Labuan currently has two active groups, namely Bah Bangat and Bah Bundle, with at least 10 and six cases registered respectively.

Meanwhile, in a statement today, a Japanese restaurant, Sakura Sushi, in the city center is temporarily closed after a customer who dined at the restaurant (October 4-10) tested positive. All staff must also undergo testing and self-quarantine. – Bernama
