Covid 19: Four new clusters detected in Sabah, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur

PUTRAJAYA: A total of four new conglomerates have been detected in Sabah, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Tan Sri Health Director General Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said the Batu Tiga group’s index case in Tawau (case 49,006) tested positive on November 17 after showing symptoms.

“A total of 28 people have been tested as of December 5 and all tested positive,” he said.

Dr. Noor Hisham added that Jalan Domis’ group in Penampang, Kota Kinabalu and Tongod involved index case 63,267 which tested positive on November 29 after close contact examination.

“As of December, 5,132 people were tested and 12 tested positive in this group,” it said in a statement on Saturday (December 5).

He said that in Klang, Andalas’ group was detected after the index case (case 68,771) tested positive on December 3 after showing symptoms.

“As of December 5, 43 people were tested and 16 of them tested positive. The Bulatan construction site group in Cheras, Titiwangsa and Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur was detected in the index case 67,708 who tested positive on December 2 after the test before going abroad.

“As of December 5,319 people were tested and 163 of them tested positive for the virus,” he said.
