Covid-19 case detected in the ministry of human resources

The office of the ministry of human resources in Putrajaya will be disinfected.

PETALING JAYA: A human resources ministry staff member has been found to be positive for Covid-19.

All ministry programs and events will be postponed until October 16, while disinfection takes place at the ministry’s office and facilities in Putrajaya.

“As an additional measure, swab tests will be performed on all officials of the ministry of human resources.

“The ministry will continue to monitor the latest Covid-19 updates and tighten prevention measures to ensure that this virus can be controlled,” the ministry said today in a statement.

The staff member tested positive on October 4 and is being treated at Sungai Buloh Hospital.

The ministry said the person’s close contacts have already been screened and they are currently under home quarantine.
