At a press conference on Tuesday, Health Director General Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said the slight improvement in daily numbers in Sabah is no reason for the ministry to rest on its laurels.
“Although there is a reduction in cases today, the Ministry of Health is still actively carrying out its detection and detection activities for Covid-19 cases in Sabah. This is because there are still 44 active conglomerates in the state, and an increase in daily cases can occur at any time, ”said Dr. Noor Hisham.
In the Klang Valley, there are 138 cases or 16.5% of Tuesday’s total, with Selangor registering 125 cases, Kuala Lumpur with nine and Putrajaya with one.
Negri Sembilan is seeing an increase in cases with 155 new infections.
Other states with new cases are Labuan (74 cases), Sarawak (16), Penang (13), Johor (eight), Kedah (four) and Terengganu (four).

On the two new death cases, Dr. Noor Hisham said that the two victims, an 82-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, died at Tawau Hospital.
