KUALA LUMPUR: Music and Quran teachers in conditional motion control order (MCO) areas can teach from Saturday (Nov 28) as long as they have individual sessions, says Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said that the government understands the complaints of such teachers, so the meeting of the Special National Security Council (NSC) decided to allow them to teach.
“They can only do it as long as they have individual sessions.
“The NSC is also looking at other things, such as individual tuition classes with standard operating procedures (SOP) established by the NSC and the Ministry of Health. However, it will be decided later,” he said during his daily briefing on Friday (27 of November).
Meanwhile, for cub prix motorsports in MCO conditional areas, Ismail Sabri said the special meeting of the NSC upholds its decision not to allow it to operate.
“We understand that those who are properly separated participate in the race.
“However, we are concerned about possible meetings or assemblies before and after the races, so we continue to maintain the decision not to allow such sports,” he added.
Ismal Sabri urged motoring associations to submit a formal application and propose POE for before, during and after races.
“Make a formal request and we can look at the matter in a more detailed way,” he said.
