Conditional OLS: Dos and Don’ts for Sabah, Selangor and Others

PETALING JAYA: After months under the recovery motion control (MCO) order, those living in parts of the Klang Valley and Sabah will now have to restrict their movement after a spike in Covid-19 cases.

Below are the lists of activities that are not allowed during the conditional MCO in Sabah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

one. Interdistrict travel will not be allowed. However, employees who need to cross districts must have a letter of authorization from their employer or show their staff pass.

two. Only two people in a household will be able to go out to buy basic necessities.

3. Schools, kindergartens, kindergartens, institutes of higher education, professional training institutes, tahfiz, public parks and recreational areas will be closed.

Four. All places of worship will be closed, including mosques.

5. Sports, recreational, social and cultural activities, including wedding ceremonies, are not allowed.

6. The opening of entertainment centers and nightclubs is not allowed.

However, economic activities in the affected areas will be allowed to operate normally.

Meanwhile in SabahBelow is a list of activities and standard operating procedures that are included in the conditional MCO:

one. The wholesale and wet markets can operate from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

two. Grocery stores, convenience stores, supermarkets, stalls, and restaurants may be open from 6 a.m. M. At 6 p. M.

3. The hours of operation of pharmacies, drugstores and gas stations will be from 6 to 18 hours.

Four. Taxi, e-hailing, and food delivery services can operate from 6 a.m. M. At 8 p. M.

5. Buses cannot operate.

6. Clinics and hospitals can operate 24 hours a day.

7. Activities are allowed in the fishing, plantation and agriculture sectors.

8. Businesses, manufactures and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that need to operate can apply for exemptions from the Sabah disaster management committee.
