[ad_1]

Kai Havertz has completed his move to Chelsea and becomes one of the club’s most expensive signings in the process.

The talented 21-year-old midfielder, who has attracted attention at Bayer Leverkusen for the past two seasons, has put his pen to paper with a five-year contract.

Havertz was announced as a Chelsea player on Friday night after receiving permission to complete the transfer of the German national team.

It is Chelsea’s sixth major signing of the summer following the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.

The deal has cost Chelsea £ 71 million, including add-ons. This makes Havertz Chelsea the second most expensive signing.

But who are they Chelsea’s The current 20 most expensive transfers (excluding Havertz) and how good were they at Stamford Bridge?

Let’s take a closer look … (all fees are per Transfermarkt.com).

Luiz played seven seasons with Chelsea over the course of two terms and won a Premier League title, two FA Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.

The Brazilian defender’s rating is not higher for obvious reasons. He made more of his mistakes on the field.
