Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh, who starred in numerous TVB dramas in the 2000s, is unapologetic about choosing her job over getting married.

“I kept coming and going and there were people who helped push me from behind. And I was getting such great scripts, I just happily kept filming.
“I went to work and then I went home. That’s how it was for me from the beginning to this day. I didn’t even have time to sleep, much less to plan my personal life.”
