Celcom is being hit by a national grid outage once again (UPDATE)

ORIGINAL STORY (4:01 PM):

It has caught our attention that Celcom You may be having a massive network problem right now that affects customers across the country. This happened just a month after the last major outage that took place late last month.

We learned about the outage through chat users that occur on social media and on the Lowyat.NET forums. For example, Celcom is trending at # 2 on Twitter at 3:48 p.m.

Once you click on the topicYou will see a long list of complaints from Celcom users regarding the interruption of service:

Similar complaints have also appeared in the most recent posts on Celcom’s Facebook page:

In our forums, the user heLL_bOy has opened a topic about the outage within the Kopitiam section and other users have since reported outages in various areas of the country, including Miri, Seremban, Petaling Jaya, Ipoh, Shah Alam, and Subang Jaya.

At the time this article is published, Celcom has yet to provide public clarifications regarding the service outage through its social media channels. The best explanation right now from the telco customer service agents on Twitter that we’ve seen so far is “Intermittent network problem”:

It is not surprising that two operators affiliated with Celcom, Tune Talk Y Yodoo They have also stated that downtime is also affecting their customers:

However, based on what we experienced before, Celcom did not provide in-depth details about the disruption in the advisory, other than that it is affecting voice and data services across the country. We will keep you posted when we see a further update from the telco.
