If you’ve been paying attention to the situation around Cyberpunk 2077, you know that it’s a buggy mess. Even on the most powerful gaming PCs, the game is run with invisible guns or NPCs circling with broken routes. Things are even worse on the next-gen consoles, specifically the base PS4 and Xbox One.

And finally, CD Projekt Red has an answer to all the reaction. On Twitter, the official Cyberpunk 2077 account tweeted the company’s statement. One party says the company will release updates to fix the experience on the first batch of next-gen consoles. This will continue well until February of next year.

But if you are not willing to wait that long, you can request a refund. If you purchased a digital copy of the game, you can get a refund via PSN or Xbox Live. If you have a physical copy, CDPR says to get it from the store you bought it from, but the option to email the company remains open if that fails.
Credit where it is due, it is very brave and honest of CDPR to make this announcement. But on the other hand, it’s pretty incredible that Cyberpunk 2077 is released in such a state to begin with.
