BLACKPINK is celebrating many milestones with the release of their new song “Ice Cream”!
Since August 29, BLACKPINK has topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 38 countries and regions with “Ice Cream,” their new song featuring Selena Gomez. The song also ranked highly in places like the US and UK, coming in at second and third place in those countries respectively.
The song has also been featured prominently on Korean music streaming sites, with the music video surpassing 70 million views on YouTube in just 21 hours after its release.
BLACKPINK also reached a milestone on YouTube by becoming the third most subscribed artist on the platform. According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel surpassed 45.6 million subscribers as of 8 p.m. KST on August 28, surpassing Ed Sheeran and making BLACKPINK the third-most-subscriber artist. Earlier this month, BLACKPINK had become the fourth-highest-subscriber artist, surpassing Eminem by reaching 44 million subscribers.
