Barcelona warned Manchester United that any attempt to sign Ousmane Dembélé on loan will be met with immediate rejection.
The World Cup-winning Barcelona winger has become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s favorite option with a deal for Jadon Sancho that still seems doubtful.
The Red Devils have chased Sancho long and hard this summer. Yet those hopes remain in the balance despite the fact that United reportedly submitted a new and improved offer.
According to reports this week, United has requested to sign Dembele on an initial loan agreement. Under the terms of their proposal, United would sign the World Cup winner with a purchase option.
However, even though the player is apparently not in Ronald Koeman’s plans, Barcelona is in no rush to accept a loan.
